DESCRIPTION:The Gaspesie Literacy Council welcomes you to our first upcycle crafters event at the Douglastown Community Center! \nWe ask that you bring along an item you’d like to make new again – think about what items that you haven’t used in a long time, or those you find too precious to throw out but don’t know what to do with them. \nPlease also bring along any leftover craft supplies you have lying around to use and share: trinkets, yarn, material, thread, buttons, gift boxes, cards with beautiful pictures, brown paper bags, gift wrap, etc. We will provide paint, brushes, a few items for decorating, glue, and scissors. \nWe are gathering to make crafts, but more importantly we gather with friends to chat, make new friends and enjoy life as much as possible.\n
